Established in 2006, Mercantile Processing Inc. (MPI) got its start in Sussex County, Delaware where the Corporate Office is still based.

As MPI grew, so did our product line of premier business services. Our focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience has remained the ultimate goal for the company. MPI has additional offices and agents throughout the U.S. and also assists international business.

MPI has been servicing Bank Partner relationships for the last 10 years. Our first Bank Partner started working with us in January of 2009. Thanks in part to the Maryland Bankers Associations endorsement of MPI, we have built our Bank Partnership program.

MPI was built on a foundation of merchant services but the company has since created programs that allow for partners to adopt products or services that are not merchant-based. These programs include gateway or POS-only products to be promoted by outside merchant ISOs.
