About Kirk & Fit Beyond 40
Kirk Charles is on a mission to get America healthy, one step at a time. He has been a NASM Certified Personal Trainer since 2010 and has successfully conducted more than 13,000 individual and group personal training sessions. Kirk also credits more than 30 years of plant-based eating as the key to his success.
Kirk focuses on the more mature generation for his training and coaching sessions. He created the Fit Beyond 40 concept in 2021 to educate and inspire his followers through the Covid-19 pandemic. He has spoken at non-profits and corporations and has appeared numerous times on SiriusXM Urban View as a guest on the topics of nutrition and fitness.
Kirk is a weekly columnist for Men's Health, the largest men's publication in the world. He is also a weekly columnist for TheHub.News, focusing on plant-based eating and health-related issues. He has also written for AARP, Black Enterprise, and Black Men magazines.
With all of his responsibilities, Kirk finds time to do commercial acting and modeling. His image and likeness have appeared in commercials and print advertisements for ESPN, Coldwell Banker, State Farm, The Motley Fool, Mediacom Business, Merck, Tommie Copper, and Uber.
Kirk is a graduate of Rutgers University and currently resides in Montclair, NJ.
