Nevada Health Centers
Located at 3325 Research Way in Carson City, Nevada Health Centers has been dedicated to serving Nevadans since 1977. As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to providing essential healthcare services to over 50,000 individuals annually, spanning urban, rural, and frontier communities across the state. Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure access to quality healthcare services throughout Nevada.
Established in 1977, Nevada Health Centers holds the distinction of being one of the pioneering federally funded Community Health Centers, operating under the authority of the Public Health Services Act of 1976. Over the years, we have steadfastly adhered to our mission, emerging as the largest provider of primary care for the uninsured, underinsured, and geographically isolated individuals in Nevada. With a network comprising 18 health centers, three mobile health programs, and seven Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) offices, we strive to bridge the gap in healthcare accessibility statewide. In many instances, our rural and frontier clinics stand as the sole lifelines for individuals seeking medical attention. To ensure affordability, we offer a sliding fee scale based on federal poverty levels, underscoring our commitment to providing inclusive and equitable healthcare services to all Nevadans, regardless of their circumstances. At Nevada Health Centers, we are driven by a singular purpose: to deliver the life-saving and health-preserving care that every individual deserves.
