in Mohave County Cooperative Extension for a Knife Skills Masterclass with Executive Chef Michael GaulHome cooks and culinary enthusiasts are invited to sharpen their skills at the upcoming Knife Skills Masterclass hostedby Mohave County Cooperative Extension and led by Executive Chef Michael Gaul. This hands-on, two-day workshop is designed to build confidence, improve efficiency, and elevate everyday cooking through practical, professional instruction. The class will be offered March 25–26 and April 22–23 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Mohave County Cooperative Extension Office, 101 East Beale Street in Kingman. Each session provides guided practice in proper knife handling, essential culinary cuts, and sharpening techniques to help participants work safely and precisely in the kitchen. Participants will improve knife control and efficiency, master foundational cuts used by professional chefs, and learn techniques to keep knives sharp and in top condition. As part of the experience, attendees will put their new skills into action by preparing vegetable soup and French onion soup during class. The cost is $50 per person, per class. Space is limited to 12 participants per session to ensure individualized instruction. Registration is required, and enrollment is finalized once payment is received.
