Neighbor helping Neighbor

Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity is inviting community members to make a direct, local impact this tax season
through the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. This unique state program allows taxpayers to support qualifying nonprofits—
like Habitat for Humanity—at no net cost to themselves.

Through the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, individuals can receive a dollar‑for‑dollar credit on their state income taxes—
up to $470 for individuals and $938 for couples filing jointly—simply by donating to a qualifying organization.

Contributions to Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity stay right here in the community, helping local families access
critical home repairs that improve safety, accessibility, and long‑term housing stability.
“Every dollar given through the tax credit becomes a direct investment in our neighbors,” said Jo'Ann Montana, Executive
Director of Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity. “These funds allow us to repair leaking roofs, replace unsafe water
heaters, install accessibility ramps, and ensure seniors and families can remain safely in their homes. It's one of the
most powerful ways to support local housing needs.”

Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity's Critical Home Repairs Program has seen growing demand as more households
face rising costs, aging infrastructure, and limited access to affordable repair services. Tax‑credit donations help the
organization expand its capacity and serve more families across Wickenburg and surrounding communities.

How the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit Works
• Donations are eligible for a dollar‑for‑dollar credit on Arizona state taxes.
• Taxpayers do not need to itemize to claim the credit.
• Wickenburg Area Habitat for Humanity is a Qualified Charitable Organization (QCO).
• Donors simply include the organization's QCO code: 22561 when filing.
• Contributions can be made up until the tax filing deadline and still count for the prior tax year.

“Supporting Habitat through the tax credit means your dollars stay local and your impact is immediate,” Montana added.
“Together, we can ensure that every family in our community has a safe, healthy place to call home.”
