Missouri Route 364
- 20 mile Interstate to Interstate connector is fully operational
- $118.2 million nine mile segment ribbon cutting occurred October 2014 Although operational, all remaining work will wrap up by the end of 2015
- Recent traffic counts indicate that traffic is greater than projected on Phase III Recent traffic counts on Phase III indicate a positive impact on I-64
- Further improvement needs will be addressed as required, and as funds become available
I-64
New Missouri River Bridge
- $111 million
- New eastbound bridge Ribbon Cutting occurred June25,20l5 1980's bridge rehabilitation completion anticipated December 2015 I-64
(Missouri Route K to I-70)
- Lane capacity expansion sought
I-70 Corridor
- Additional I-70 auxiliary lane improvements sought
- I-70 Conidor Study shut down by MoDOT - Reactivation is sought
- I-70 Traffic Flow Improvement Project in the vicinity of Route M/K is fully funded
- I-70 Access Improvement Project in the vicinity of 5th Street is fully funded
- Missouri River bicycle/pedestrian crossing feasibility/preliminary engineering completed
- Missouri River bicycle/pedestrian crossing Federal-aid TIGER Grant submitted on 6/4/15
Numbered and Lettered Routes
- Route 94 North safety improvement work underway -Late 2015 completion
- Route 94 South safety improvement work underway - Mid 2016 completion
- Missouri Route N (I-64 to Route T) safety improvement work completed
- Missouri Route N (I-64 to the west) four lane divided highway initiative sought
- Missouri Route 6l at Peine Road design work underway - Construction anticipated 2017
Missouri General Assembly
- A funding package was not adopted during the 2015 session of the General Assembly Federal
Legislative Update
- Reauthorization of the Federal Surface Transportation Act adopted through October 2015
Other Initiatives
- "St. Charles County Transportation Plan 2030 continues to serve as a planning blueprint Unified Planning Work Program adopted (2015)
- Connected 2045 Long Range Plan adopted (2015)
