Work on Mexico Road Multi-Use Path Bridge Project Requires Eastbound Lane Closures

Drivers can expect daily lane closures on eastbound Mexico Road just east of West Sunny Hill Boulevard starting this week as work begins on the Mexico Road Multi-Use Path Bridge Project.

This project will build a new multi-use pedestrian and bike path bridge over Dardenne Creek along Mexico Road. The new trail connection will provide pedestrian access on the south side of Mexico Road to the Great Rivers Greenway Dardenne Greenway trail. It will also provide a connection to the sidewalk system on the south side of Mexico Road to provide safer access to Mid Rivers Elementary School.

This project is partially funded through a Federal Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) grant. Completion is scheduled for October.
