March Monthly Membership Luncheon Held

The Marion Chamber of Commerce Monthly Membership Luncheon was held on Tuesday, March 8 at noon at Kokopelli. 

The presenter of the March Membership Luncheon was Maggie Sheely, Congressional and Public Affairs Manager of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Great Lakes Region.

House 2 Home Realty is the fastest growing real estate company in Williamson County and the number one non franchise company.  We have a unique way of offering reduced commission rates to our sellers that in return makes it easier to bring buyers to the table.  House 2 Home went from 14 million in sales in 2014 to over 25 million in sales in 2015.  We have 14 agents and 2 offices.  Keep in mind, because we do not have franchise fees that go to a corporate office, the revenue generated stays right here on our local Main Streets thereby boosting our local economy.   We are all about investing in the community.  We have been Chamber Sponsors for the Awards Banquet and Golf Scramble, given out hot chocolate and Krispy Kreme doughnuts to Black Friday shoppers.  Raffled off a Christmas tree with proceeds going to the Women's Shelter.  Had a toy and food drive that went to the Hands of Hope just before Christmas.   We gave away a  family Christmas dinner, sponsored a trunk or treat for local kids at Black Diamond Harley Davidson, had a pet parade and costume contest, had a customer appreciation event with free food and drinks on our parking lot, and raised money to benefit a local business owner who was devastated by fire.  Another service we are offering is House 2 Rent, a division of House 2 Home.  We have a sophisticated software for renters and landlords to find each other.  But, even with all these community events and growth, one of the most exciting things to us right now is we are rolling out our own Homes Magazine!  Of course the homes we have listed will be in it, along with the homes to rent,  we are expecting to advertise local businesses and publish community feel good articles highlighting new home owners and sellers, along with current market trends in buying, selling, decorating, landscaping and much more.  This will be a magazine we want people to pick up for more than the reason of looking at homes, but seeing the partnership we have with local businesses and remembering them and House 2 Home when it comes time to buying or selling a home.  In 2016 it is our goal to make sure that any person selling or buying their home or property in Southern Illinois thinks of House 2 Home Realty.
