Bank On Marion presents at Business Before Hours program

The Marion Chamber of Commerce held its Business Before Hours event on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Classroom 1.

The event began at 7:45 a.m. with free breakfast and networking, followed by a presentation by Bank On Marion.

The Bank on Marion program is a collaboration of financial institutions and non-profit organizations that are dedicated to provide a low cost or free checking account to the unbanked citizens of Marion. The organizations and financial institutions that participate in the Bank on Marion program have great commitment to the community, and want to ensure that they meet the financial and service needs of all the communities in which they serve. Their partners have agreed to participate in community outreach and financial education efforts throughout the community.

Presenters:
Amber Pentecost, a Marion resident started her career with Banterra Bank 18 years ago. Amber is currently the Manager of the Marion Market with branch responsibilities of the location at 3201 Banterra Dr.

Stefanie Kaytor, a Marion resident and graduate of McKendree College started her career with Banterra Bank 6 years ago. She is the Branch Manager of the Banterra branch located inside the Marion Kroger store.

Marion Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours events are held on the fourth Thursday, every quarter during the year, at 7:45 a.m. at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Classroom 1. Presenters for each Business Before Hours are chosen by the Marion Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee.
