CREDIT UNION NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2015 SCHOLARSHIPS

Glendale, AZ.  - Credit Union West will award $1,000 scholarships to three graduating high school seniors next year. Applications are now being accepted through February 27 and the scholarship winners will be announced March 27, 2015.

The credit union has a long history of supporting several scholarship programs in both Maricopa and Yavapai Counties. This marks the second year for their annual outstanding high school senior scholarship program. Applicants must be high school seniors entering college or trade school in fall 2015 and must be a member of Credit Union West. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement, community service and overall character.

“Higher education prepares students for future endeavors and lays the foundation for lasting success. Investing in education is an important part of our mission,” said Bob MacGregor, President/CEO. “This is a great opportunity for us to assist with education expenses while they gain insight on the unique benefits of credit union membership.” Applications are available online at www.cuwest.org.
