Description
Learn to paddle on the Missouri River in 2026 with Missouri Stream Teams. If you have never paddled on the Missouri River, the Paddle MO program provides the on and off-water support and group atmosphere to introduce you to paddling on the Missouri River. Learn more at PaddleMO.org. Hosted by non-profit Stream Teams United with lead on-water educators from Earth’s Classroom, our experienced team of staff and volunteers will support you on up to 5-days of river exploration on the Missouri River. The 2026 Paddle MO adventure begins in Boonville, MO and travels 114 miles downstream to New Haven, MO over 5 days. Weekend-only and Monday-Wednesday three-day options are also available. Overnight stops along the way include Coopers Landing, Jefferson City, Chamois, and Hermann, MO. In addition to river navigation and safety, participants will learn river ecology and about historical landmarks along the route. Program fees include all meals and tent camping for the nights and days of the journey, from a 2-day weekend trip up to a 5-day adventure. Paddle days are September 19-23, 2026, with Sept. 18th as the arrival day for 5-day and weekend only participants. Don't have a boat? We can help you find one.
