The Lander County Self-Reliance Fair is the first of our annual event that will bring together individuals, families, and community shareholders to celebrate and promote self-sufficiency and sustainability. This fair showcases a wide range of skills, products, and resources that empower people to take control of their own lives and reduce their reliance on external systems.
At the Self-Reliance Fair, attendees can participate in demonstrations and hands-on skills such as gardening, renewable energy, solar oven cooking, herbal medicine, and more. They can also browse through vendor booths offering locally made crafts, delicious sour dough and more. The "Product Table" will showcase products to use water when systems go down.
Ideas for future fairs are sought and products from the "Product Table" will be raffled off to persons that provide their ideas.
In addition to educational opportunities and shopping options, the fair features interactive activities for all ages, including live music performances, and delicious foods and treats. There are also opportunities for networking with like-minded individuals who share a passion for self-reliance.

The Kiddos can enjoy "old-time games" a Petting Zoo and Horse Crazy young and old folks can talk one-on-one "horses" with a gregarious expert and a kind old mare.
Guest Speakers include: Bee-Keeping Lecture, Medicinal Plant Lecture, and First Amendment Rights with Current Events!
