After the success of our last workshop, Lesley Muir and I are running another Gut Health Workshop, sharing how you can improve your digestive health with targeted yoga practices and a more informed and mindful approach to nutrition with better eating practices and food choices.

If you want to feel good about your digestion, full of energy, light and regular, then come along to find out how simple strategies can support your digestion. Because digestion is the key to overall health. 

If you are feeling bloated, or constipated, these feelings make you self conscious and perhaps lead to avoiding social situations or activities you would enjoy. If regular heartburn or indigestion is becoming a source of stress, this workshop is a must.

Understand that these issues are incredibly common, especially for busy individuals. They occur when stress or anxiety disrupts your gut-brain axis—the two-way communication system between your brain and digestive tract. When this delicate balance is thrown off, it can lead to a host of digestive issues and impact your overall well-being.

The good news? Small, intentional changes to your eating habits and daily routine can bring fast relief. Yoga, along with other lifestyle changes, has been shown in numerous research studies to have a very positive effect on reducing common digestive issues.

During this afternoon event on May 18, 2025, we will share practical ways to improve your digestive health and embrace a more mindful lifestyle.

What the Workshop Includes:

75 mins all-levels yoga session: Focused on the postures and breathwork designed to ease bloating and digestive discomfort. The yoga practice will be working on both the samana vayu region of the body to stimulate digestion and improve assimilation and the apana vayu region, associated with elimination and letting go, of physical and emotional 'waste'.
1.5 hour interactive discussion: Learn how to reframe your eating habits with ease and get practical tips for every day, efficient gut friendly food preparation.
Delicious high tea: Enjoy a gut-friendly, dairy free, vegetarian menu with sweet and savoury food that nourishes your body. You will be amazed how good you feel afterwards
