Fast Track Weekend Welding Workshop
Description
Career and Workforce Education Department now offers a 42-hour, non-credit, fast track Saturday program that lets you learn the skills and safety practices to perform various basic types of welding. Upon successful completion of course, students will receive a Butler CC issued Weekend Welding certificate of completion. For an additional $475.00 fee, you can be tested on the last day for AWS Certification in one method.

- Gas metal arc
- Gas tungsten arc (GTAW)
- Shielded metal arc (SMAW)
This approach will allow individuals, both employed and those looking for employment, to advance their career in a manner that works around the demands of their schedule. It's also a great way for hobbyists to learn basic welding safety and skills
