EMBRACING GOOD GOVERNANCE

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting. the leap into electronic typesetting the leap into electronic typesetting the leap into electronic typesetting.

The issue of governance has come into focus after the spectacular failures of Enron, FIFA, Danske Bank, and many more, as well as local concerns in the public and private sectors. Many companies or Governments chose to accomplish their goals by any means possible, including lying, chicanery, and bribery.

Governance is not management, it is, however, the operational interface between management and operations. Governance is about setting fit and proper standards of performance and conduct, with controls to encourage adherence to those standards. The process of governance addresses internal, performance, responsibility, accountability, and transparency.

Governance is an essential element for all organizations. All means all. Governance is important to private business, the public sector, and non-profit organizations. The principles of governance guide management to meet its goals without breaking the law, or its promises to shareholders, employees, customers, or their community.
