You are invited to join with women and girls in SongSisters, 8 weeks of playful and heartful singing. It doesn’t matter whether you think of yourself as a ‘singer’ or not, for every voice adds to the beauty of our songs, and we need yours!

Why Sing?
We gather to build friendship though singing. We gather to create an island of sanity, a place of belonging. We gather to make something bigger than any one of us. We gather to learn a common body of simple songs that we can carry with us into our everyday lives. Through group singing we experience joy, a sense of success, and an expression of shared meaning. We deepen our sense of communion with each other and a sense of sanctuary for all our spirits. Join us to sing, socialize, and relax – because singing is too important to leave to the professionals!
Any woman or girl is welcome!
Come alone, bring a friend, bring a daughter or a neighbor. Anyone who identifies as a woman or girl is welcome. If you are the mother of a young boy and would like to bring him along, please do. Youngest ones might like to play quietly in the room, or sit on laps.
What ages will we be?
Any and all! This is a chance to make intergenerational friendships. Babies and very young children are welcome too.
Is there a fee?
A one-time donation is asked at the beginning, on sliding scale $16-$56, pay as feels affordable and generous to you. Under age 8 is free. This money will pay our expenses and if there’s any extra we’ll have the pleasure of deciding together where to donate it. If money is tight for you, there are other ways you can help.
