The Pet Show Art Reception
Description
The public is welcome to attend the closing reception of The Pet Show, an open art show community members entered with artwork of their pets.  Artists, as young as 5 and into adulthood, will be auctioning their pieces off this Friday, March 29 with 100% of the proceeds going to the Humane Society of NEIA.  The event starts at 7 pm at the ArtHaus Gallery.  A silent auction will end at 8 pm.  Refreshments are provided.  The Humane Society will be bringing animals to the show.  The show has been on display in the gallery since Feb 18 due to the generous sponsorship of LuLu and BBs Pet Market.

"This unjuried show had people from as far as North Carolina, Colorado, and Strawberry Point entering with a deep love of helping support animal rescue," says ArtHaus Executive Director, Shannon Dallenbach Durbin.  "ArtHaus is a small non-profit ourselves, but we believe in the power of art building community and this show is just one example of that power."
