Confinement Site Manure Applicator Workshop
Description
Iowa law requires confinement site manure applicators to meet certification requirements for manure handling and land application. Certification requirements include attending two hours of annual training for each year of the three-year license or passing a certification exam once every three years. Iowa State University Extension and Outreach – Winneshiek County is providing the opportunity along with Allamakee County so you can attend the annual training on January 30, 2019 at 1:30 PM at the Allamakee Extension and Outreach Office in Waukon. Or you can complete the on-line training modules.
 
We encourage you to contact our county Extension office to determine meeting options in the event of bad weather. Registration is not required for this meeting, but you may wish to contact our Extension office at 563-382-2949 to ensure there will be adequate space and training materials available. Please bring your certification card with you or be prepared to share your certification number so we may assist you with paperwork.
