Join Class III of ENGAGE Serves
 
THIS IS A COMMITMENT - YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND EACH OF THE SIX TUESDAY CLASSES FOR GRADUATION.

ENGAGE Serves is open to professionals who would like to participate in effective board service training at a cost of $50.00 or, if you are a member of ENGAGE, the course is considered an additional benefit of your ENGAGE membership and is FREE. There are a limited number of scholarships available as well.
 
The 6-week program will be held at A-C-T Environmental & Infrastructure on Hwy. 60 in Bartow on Tuesday evenings from 4:30-6:30 p.m. beginning January 15, 2019 and running February 19, 2019. A light meal will be provided at no additional cost.  Over the span of  six weeks, the fundamentals of effective board service will be taught by some of Bartow’s own “seasoned” community leaders. Attendance to every class is recommended however we do allow one absence in order to graduate from the program. Participants will be asked to list their areas of interests in order to be added to a database available to local organizations seeking quality board members.

According to ENGAGE Chair Morgan Odum, “ENGAGE Serves is a dynamic program that provides insight on how to be an effective board member. During the program, participants will hear from a great line up of speakers and have the chance to network with others who are eager to serve their community. We are so thankful that Baylis and Company, PA has shared its wealth of knowledge and a program built out of a community need. The planning committee and I are thrilled to launch Engage Serves Class III!”
 
Applications can be submitted online at www.BartowChamber.com.  Deadline for applications is January 4, 2019.  At the end of the application period, you will be notified via email if your application has been accepted. Class size is limited, so submit your application today!
