North Valley Symphony Orchestra Performs Holiday Concert
Description
Bundle up for an evening of chilly music inspired by the wintry season! North Valley Symphony Orchestra (NVSO) presents “Winter Wonderland”, a concert that includes classical holiday favorites, and even a visit from Santa. Invite your family, friends and neighbors to join in the festive holiday experience, Saturday, December 15^th, 7:00 p.m. at North Canyon High School Performing Arts Center, 1700 E. Union Hills Drive.

NVSO will perform Rimsky Korsakov’s Snow Maiden Suite, Holst’s In the Bleak Midwinter, Silvestri’s The Polar Express, Korngold’s The Snowman Overture, and more. Liberty Elementary School Chorus, from Paradise Valley Unified School District, will provide the children’s chorus parts for Tchaikovsky’s Waltz of the Snowflakes, and Prokofiev’s Winter Bonfire. The talented North Valley Youth Orchestra will open the concert with Tchaikovsky’s Mother Ginger.

Audience members can get a picture taken with Santa before the concert or at intermission. Photographer Glenn Mire will provide a free download of your photo at his website. 
 
NVSO proudly provides affordable concert experiences to the Phoenix North Valley community. Tickets are only $5.00, and can be purchased on-line at www.northvalleysymphony.org.  The "Winter Wonderland" concert is the perfect way to inspire children and young adults in the appreciation of orchestral music, while starting a family tradition of regularly supporting the arts in your community.  
 
The “Winter Wonderland” concert is sponsored by DogGoPlay, a new company with a focus on a new concept in dog parks. Their indoor dog parks will feature a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment designed to strengthen the bond between people, their dogs, and their community.
