The Miss Teen YC Latina event is organized by the Alianza Institute, a non- profit organization located in Prescott Valley.  It is a fundraiser for La Casita Project, an afternoon club for children.
The Miss Teen YC Latina’s mission is to find and empower young women with strong goals and interests in promoting their Hispanic culture.
The show will feature competition in:

• Individual talent
• Folkloric costumes
• Formal wear fashions

The objective of this event is to showcase these teenage girls and to demonstrate their culture, poise and demeanor that they have achieved through their work with the Alianza Institute.  The Institute’s motivation is to educate and prepare these young girls to take their rightful place in the community and to contribute to society in general.
The contestants are rehearsing with the following people:
Judy Hagopian- education and empowerment, Maria Colby-Communication, nutrition and self-esteem, Leticia Selmer-Choreographer and Jacky Rojas-speech and catwalk.
 
Please join them on November 4, 2018, to show support and encourage these wonderful young girls.
