Description
Meet an eye doctor, learn about what they do, and try out the equipment they use! Visit Explora’s Experiment Bar to explore the “My First Eye Exam” exhibit. Play with a phoropter, try on glasses that simulate vision changes associated with certain eye diseases, touch and feel contact lenses and lens blanks, learn about color vision deficiencies with a color vision test, and more!

Learn about Optometry is an extension of the Portal to the Public (PoP) program at Explora, and offered in partnership with the New Mexico Optometric Association, Albuquerque Eye Care, Essilor, and Walman Instruments with support from the American Optometric Association.

Drop-in anytime 1-3pm.
