History Hike at Fairbank Historic Townsite
Description
Tour this historic townsite with a docent from the Friends of the San Pedro River.  Learn about its origin and colorful history, to include a train robbery.  The tour will conclude with a walk to the town cemetery.  This tour entails an easy stroll around the town followed by a walk of two-thirds mile, round trip, on an uneven, dirt trail that includes a rocky uphill section.  There is limited shade and it will be hot on sunny days.  Please realistically assess your ability to do this walk.  Please wear walking shoes, a hat and bring water.  The  walk is free, but donations to support FSPR activities are appreciated.
