● Blood cannot be manufactured - it can only come from generous donors.
● Although an estimated 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood at any given time, less than 10 percent of that eligible population actually do each year.

Fairfield Arts & Convention Center welcomes you to the Mississippi Valley Blood Drive Center's Community Blood Drive.

All donors at each blood drive at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center will be entered into a drawing for tickets to the Sondheim Artist Series. 

To donate by appointment, contact the Blood Center at (800) 452-1097 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5396 to locate the drive.

Donor Eligibility Criteria
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate.  For questions about eligibility, please call the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at (800)747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before 3/21/18 are eligible to give at this drive. 

Blood donation is a safe, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour.  Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure may be accepted as eligible donors.

Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center is the provider of blood and blood components to more than 90 hospitals in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin.  

In Jefferson County, MVRBC is the exclusive provider to Jefferson County Health Center.Links:
