On Wednesday, April 25th the HER Women in Business Luncheon will be at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. The event will welcome keynote Gale Mote, Gale Mote Associates, for the program entitled "Leadership doesn't just happen in the C-suite". A brief description is below. Registration for the event begins at 11am.
Every woman wants to know that she is a valued and respected contributor in the workplace. Each of us want to make a positive impact in our workplaces. Some believe that they need to be in the C-Suite for that to happen.

This inspiring keynote will provide practical techniques to lead where you are and bring your best self to any role, team or workplace situation. To end each day knowing that we made a difference is the ultimate measure of satisfaction. The result is increased self-confidence, happiness and meaning.
Keynote topics include:
- Developing your leadership philosophy and “true north”
- Building your Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Developing an Outward Mindset
- Embracing Servant Leadership
- Focusing on strengths, managing around weaknesses
- Being a person of influence and a respected team player
Following the luncheon a special workshop lead by Gale Mote will be offered to those who
register. Learning outcomes/participants of the workshop session will dive deeper to build your emotional Intelligence (EQ).
- Self-Regard, Self-Actualization, Interpersonal Relationships and Optimism.
Luncheon tickets are available for $35, and include the keynote, panel discussion and lunch. The luncheon runs from 11:30am - 1:15pm. Tables of 8 are available for $280.
For a more in-depth discussion on the program topic, a workshop ticket is available for $50. The workshop ticket includes the luncheon, plus an additional workshop from 1:30pm - 2:15pm. Tables of 8 are available for $400.
