Fatigue Management
Description
Fatigue Management

The impacts of human fatigue due to poor sleep are many.  It is estimated that the cost to industry is $1.9 Million per year.  This cost includes increased insurance rates, increased employee healthcare premiums, and a loss of productivity such as employee replacement, increased overtime, and absenteeism.

In construction, emergency services, healthcare, hospitality, government, manufacturing, petroleum, transportation, logistics, utilities industries, employees are required to work long or irregular hours, rotating shifts, perform after hours on-call duties or are subjected to poorly designed work schedules.  These conditions, if left uncorrected, create an unwanted loss of productivity and unresolved workplace safety hazards.

Worker Fatigue Management Training: A Hidden Hazard addresses individual and operational causes of fatigue and its ill effects while offering practical, immediate-use coping strategies to protect the worker (employee) and prevent workplace injuries or illnesses.  This course benefits safety professionals, industry managers, supervisors and their employees.
