"Field of Dreams" is a fairy tale celebration of the love of baseball. Kevin Costner appears in this sports film fantasy, a baseball-themed film coupled with the religious themes of faith and redemption. This sentimental, modern fantasy classic became a smash hit in its unique depiction of Americana. Its tagline described the film's plot:

“All his life, Ray Kinsella was searching for his dreams. Then one day, his dreams came looking for him.”...

A portion of all proceeds from this show will be donated to the Prescott Valley Youth Baseball organization; “The Bad News For You Bears”.

Iowa farmer Ray (Kevin Costner) hears a voice one night in his cornfield saying "If you build it, he will come," he feels the need to act. Despite taunts of lunacy, Ray uses all of the family’s savings and builds a baseball diamond in his cornfield, supported by his wife, Annie (Amy Madigan) who shares his dreams. Afterward, the ghosts of great players start emerging from the crops to play ball, led by "Shoeless" Joe Jackson (Ray Liotta). But, as Ray learns, this field of dreams is about much more than bringing former baseball greats out to play.

Ray sets out on a road trip to Boston to Fenway Park. In Boston the voices tell him to find Terence Mann (James Earl Jones). Mann, a disillusioned and reclusive ex counter culture author argues with Ray but finally agrees to go to Fenway with him. There Mann also hears the voice speak and sets out on the road with Ray to find Archibald “Moonlight” Graham (Burt Lancaster in his last theatrical film role). Only to find out that Dr. Graham past away, so they head home. They pick up a hitchhiker because Ray “needs all the karma I can get right now”. After Ray and Terence introduce themselves the young man tells them his name is Archie Graham…………..The three head back to Iowa and home to learn the true reason of what is happening.

“Oh people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.” “Go the distance” come to the Elks.”

A portion of all proceeds from this show will be donated to the Prescott Valley Youth Baseball organization; “The Bad News For You Bears”.

Northern Arizona Youth Sports Organization is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by Jeff Scheffert in 2016, designed to create youth club and travel baseball. Since beginning in 2016 with one team, the Bad News for You Bears baseball club has expanded to two teams at two different age levels.

They have begun work to build two baseball fields at Coyote Springs Elementary School in Prescott Valley, AZ. These players, families, and volunteers have logged hundreds of hours removing rock, laying dirt, adding irrigation systems, and planting grass.

This organization is much more than kids playing baseball. Jeff Scheffert is the manager of one team, assisted by coaches Dino Irwin, Brandon Ramirez, Bailey Ramirez, and Dennis Payne. The second team is managed by Bear Suksi, assisted by Luis Morales, Steven Hunt, Reghan Stuller, and Evan Fowler. The teams play regular tournaments scheduled by USSSA Arizona in the Phoenix, AZ area.   To visit us, please click;https://nazyouthsports.org/.
