We will explore the most current theoretical perspectives on loss and grief, emphasizing six areas where understandings of grief have been challenged and developed. The presentation is useful to a range of professionals who counsel persons who are bereaved, including counselors, clergy, social workers, nurses and other health care workers, as well as educators.
