The 2017 South Georgia Resource Expo, hosted by The Valdosta Mayor’s Council for Persons with Disabilities on June 24, 2017 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. We are excited to present an opportunity to reach out to individuals in the South Georgia region who need your services. This year we are partnering with Pepsi, Sam’s Club, Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts, Goodwill and many others to provide a platform for you to present your information to the people who need it. We will provide a free lunch to both vendors and visitors. Last year’s event taught us a lot about how to draw in those who can most benefit from your services. We are planning on a blow out this year and appreciate your participation. There are so many resources in our area, yet there are so many people with disabilities or caregivers who are uninformed as to how they can tap in. This is our chance to come together under one roof and make the connections that can changes lives. The booth space is free, and a complimentary lunch will be provided for two. The Mayor’s Council will provide a door prize, and we ask that each booth provide a giveaway as well. We welcome both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Booth Space is limited, so don’t wait to register. There are enough barriers for our clients to overcome; let’s not let lack of knowledge continue to be one. Come out and share your resources!
