Skilled Care
The Callaway Good Life Center is a 35 bed skilled nursing facility which provides 24 hour nursing care for our residents. therapy services are also provided for people of all ages recovering from a hospital stay, surgery, an illness, or injury. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy are offered to aid clients in their recovery so they can return to their home or the the highest level of their abilities. We also house a Medicare Rehabilitation wing with private rooms. The Medicare Rehabilitation wing offers therapy equipment in a large commons area for the most effective rehabilitation.
Community Care
Our facility provides many of the comforts of home, while allowing residents to bring special items with them. Family photos, favorite blanket, cards and decorations adorn many of the rooms here. We encourage family visits and host holiday dinners for residents and family. Activities are available, healthy, nutritious meals, laughter and friendship abound. All of these things help to create a new sense of home for our residents.
Our facility is surrounded by beautiful gardens and prairie. Our residents can enjoy the outdoors by sitting and smelling the roses or planting a flower or two. Large shade trees and cool breezes make sitting outside an inviting activity during the warmer months. Our local churches also provide services such as Bible studies and Church services for all our residents. We have been known to take an afternoon excursion through the country side in our facility bus.
