Opal Fee digging Mine- Since 1981, the Royal Peacock Opal Mine has been open to the public as a pay-to-dig mine. It has yielded countless world-class precious opal specimens during that time. We are open May 15 - October 15 every year. We have a few furnished lodgings to rent, 18 RV spots with full hook -ups, and a tent camping area. We are fully equipped with a shower house, and laundry room. Also a Gift shop that offers Opals, Opal Jewelry, Tools, and basic essentials.
