EXPERIENCE. Roger Engstrom has been a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) since 2009 and a licensed Mechanical Engineer for over 20 years. He was most recently a Resources Efficiency Manager at SalientCRGT working for the US Navy in Naples Italy helping the US Navy save energy in Europe. Prior to that, he was the Resources Efficiency Manager (Energy Consultant) for the US Army at Camp Parks, Dublin CA, before that at Beale AFB, before that, he held a similar position at Travis AFB. His passion has been the reduction of energy use through the implementation of advanced technology. This has led him to be involved with various energy saving technologies as a consultant for residential and commercial structures. These technologies range from converting to Ozone based cleaning for clothes washing, to LED lighting retrofits, to super efficient windows and HVAC systems. His consulting includes not just the best technology, but also his background with a MBA in finance, helps him to provide the best way to finance the project at the same time. There are currently wonderful finance programs available to make saving energy even easier. This includes nothing down lease and nothing down purchase programs.
