In business for almost 30 years, we are a non-profit RV Resort. with 127 RV membership sites.
We are members of the Florida SKP CO-OP, Inc. Besides the laws of Florida, we are governed by member adopted by-laws and rules and procedures which can be seen elsewhere on this website. We have a governing board to administer these.
The spirit of volunteerism that created the park persists to today. While we pay for an office manager, grounds keeper, and licensed professional services, the great bulk of maintenance of the park and its operations fall to committees and individuals who provide their skills and services as volunteers. Often our SKP visitors help out as well.
We have a “Fun & Sun” committee, of which technically everyone is a member. They plan and run the many activities that make the park a fun place! In the process they often also raise funds for the park’s needs as well as charity such as the SKP Care facility in Livingston, TX.
Not only do these activities save on costs of providing services, but also built an “esprit de corps” among the members.
We are engaged in the local community from churches, to food banks, to a float in the Wauchula Christmas parade, to bell ringing for the Salvation Army, etc.
