The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association (CMFCAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to equipping and supporting kinship, foster, and adoptive children, youth, and families in Central Missouri. The organization believes that loved children live better and fuller lives, and it is passionate about helping support these families. CMFCAA provides essential services and support completely free of charge, educating, supporting, and advocating for families to help them become healthy and self-sufficient.

In FY2025, CMFCAA helped 5,343 individuals across 24 counties and supported 1,500 foster families. Common ways CMFCAA assists include providing resources for aged-out foster youth, organizing respite events, offering foster and adoptive parent trainings, supporting relative caregivers, and distributing free physical resources such as clothes, beds, dressers, and shoes.
