The Northern Indiana Workforce Board (NIWB) leads workforce development initiatives across a five-county region in Northern Indiana, delivering services through WorkOne Centers in Elkhart, Fulton, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties. Through WorkOne Northern Indiana, individuals gain access to employment resources, including career counseling, skill assessments, job search assistance, resume support, workshops, job training programs, and tuition scholarships, along with specialized services for veterans, older workers, and individuals with disabilities.
Guided by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and its comprehensive four-year local plan, NIWB is committed to building a modern, customer-centered workforce system focused on measurable outcomes. With job placement identified as the most impactful metric for Adults, Dislocated Workers, and Youth, NIWB works collaboratively with regional partners to strengthen communities, support employers, and expand long-term employment opportunities.
