Freestyle Architects is an architecture firm that blends a love for timeless beauty with smart, high-performance design. Inspired by the stunning mountain landscape around us, we create spaces that help you feel more connected to the place you call home.

Founded in 2008 in Crested Butte, we’ve worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects throughout Crested Butte, the Gunnison Valley, and communities across the Rocky Mountain West. We specialize in custom home design, crafting homes that are as functional as they are beautiful. As a small, family-owned business with two registered architects, all of our work is thoughtfully designed right here in our downtown Crested Butte office.

We’ve lived and worked in Crested Butte for many years and have raised our family here. This community means a great deal to us. When we’re not in the office, you’ll find us hiking, biking, skiing (both nordic and alpine), creating art, and most of all, spending time with family and friends. We’re proud of the spaces we’ve designed and the lasting relationships we’ve built along the way. We’re always excited for the next creative challenge—and the wonderful people we’ll meet through it.
