Welcome the Elko Downtown Business Association

The members of the Elko Downtown Business Association invite you to enjoy Historic Downtown Elko, Nevada.

Branching out from the center of town (around 5th and Idaho Streets) you'll find a plethora of places to visit, shop, eat, drink and enjoy! Youll find locally owned shops where the owners strive to make your shopping experience a joy! While strolling the downtown streets be sure to stop in the many specialty stores featuring bath and body products, clothing and accessories for looking your best, outdoor gear for hiking the beautiful nearby Ruby Mountains, fine jewelry, lovely home d?cor, enchanting collectibles, flowers, and great wine selections. And there is still more! Continue your downtown experience with lunch or dinner at one of the quaint cafes and eateries. Perhaps a hot cup of coffee or a cold beer to sip while you appreciate the architecture of the historic buildings. Dont miss a number of galleries displaying the tremendous talent of local artists. Often, youll find entertainment from live bands and poetry recitals at a local pub or wine bar, and round-the-clock fun at the lively casinos. About the Elko DBA

The DBA was established as a non-profit organization to benefit the businesss located within the designated downtown area. By supporting the downtown business community, hosting a variety of events, encouraging new business development and raising consumer awareness, the DBA helps to ensure that downtown Elko continues to grow and improve.

The Elko DBA hosts several signature events throughout the year. These events help reinforce a sense of community and bring people together to enjoy what the Downtown has to offer. Revenues are raised from these event to support a number of DBA sponsored projects. These events which are typically held on the second Saturday of the Month include:

The downtown area is defined at being bounded on the south by River Street, on the east by 12th Street, on the west by 1st Street, and on the north by Court Street. Membership to the DBA is open to any business, firm, organization, or civic group.
